Bug Fixes

What We Fixed

What It Means For You

Reliable Item Saves

Fixed an issue where edits to an item could fail to save. Your changes now persist the first time, every time.

Correct Order Method Icons

Online orders no longer show the email-order icon. The icon you see in the queue matches how the order will actually go out.

Stable Print from the Detail Panel

Single-item print of labels and breadcrumbs from the item detail panel works again.

Fresher Cards on Reprint

Printed cards now use the latest location code instead of a stale one.

Cleaner Card Notes

Card notes (not order history) print on cards, and cards skip the notes line entirely when there's nothing to print.

No More Mid-Edit Data Loss

Navigating away while editing (e.g., to change your password) no longer wipes your in-progress work.

Smoother Session Timeouts

Resolved the screen flicker between views when a session timed out.

Search Stays in Sync

Editing a supplier inline now updates the item detail view (and vice versa) instantly.

Receive-and-Move-On

When you receive a card by scanning, it disappears from the receiving queue right away.

Steadier Inventory Grid

Several grid stability fixes — column ordering, dropdown visuals, and saving edits when you click away — make the items page feel solid.

New Features

What's New

What It Means For You

Half-and-Half Split Card-to-Label

A split card prints as both a card and a label in one pass — faster physical setup and fewer reprints. Available in the new template set.

Filtering and Sorting at Scale

Filter and sort your items list across your full catalog — the previous row-count limit is gone, with the new server-side approach handling big inventories.

Order Queue Grouped by Vendor and Method

The order queue now splits orders by vendor and by how they go out (online, email, etc.), so it's easier to work through a batch.

More Printing Format Options

Pick from a wider range of card and label sizes at print time, including the new sizes recently added to the system.

Image Uploads That Just Work

Drag-and-drop, paste-from-URL, and direct upload for item images are stable across the app.

Up/Down Arrow Browsing in Item View

Roll through items with arrow keys instead of clicking row by row.

"Qty" Instead of "Amount"

Cleaner labels in the items grid.

Auto-Selection on Scan

When you scan a card, it's automatically selected, so the next action is one click away.

Color Picker on Card Preview

Customize card color directly in the preview.

Mixed-Size Bulk Printing

Send a batch with multiple card sizes — they split into the right print tabs automatically.

What's Coming

What It Means For You

Bulk Editing

Select multiple items and update them all at once using an Excel-style drag-to-extend feature.

Frictionless Item Creation

Multiple ways to add items — full-page form, spreadsheet-style entry, or edit-in-place — so new inventory can be set up the way that fits your workflow.

Scan-to-Auto-Queue / Kiosk Mode

A tablet-friendly scanning flow that automatically queues items for ordering. Set it down on the floor and let your team scan.

Email Notification Pipeline

Get automated email alerts when orders are placed, received, or need attention.

User and Tenant Preferences

Set your own defaults for card sizes, display options, and grid layouts to customize your workspace.

Coming After That

  • Full Purchase Order Workflow: Complete purchase order management with state tracking, one-off line items, and partial receiving — building on the email/PO sending foundation now in flight.

  • Richer Item Info: Attach URLs, metadata, and price plates directly to items so cards carry the context your team actually needs on the floor.

  • Custom Label and Card Templates: Define and roll out templates tailored to your account — brand, size, and content you control.

  • Catalog-Aware Item Views: A clearer distinction between your full supplier catalog and the items you've actually set up for ordering, so clutter doesn't get in the way as live supplier syncs come online.

Where We're Headed

  • Multi-location Support: Manage and track inventory seamlessly across multiple facilities or stockrooms.

  • Live Supplier Catalog Syncs: Connect to major distributors (think McMaster, Uline, Amazon) so your items stay current without manual uploads — and so you can browse and order without leaving Arda.

  • Reporting and Analytics: Usage dashboards, reorder pattern analysis, and spend tracking so you can see where your inventory is actually flowing.

  • Advanced Integrations: Connect Arda with your existing ERP or accounting systems for unified operations.

  • Non-Traditional Interfaces: Scanners, RFID bins, scales, and other physical-first ways to interact with your inventory — the stuff that makes Arda feel different from a typical screen-bound WMS.
